I’m Alison Molloy, the founder of AM Financial Solutions. I bring over 20 years’ experience in accounting, payroll, and financial operations — supporting everything from small family-run businesses to a publicly listed company during a period of rapid growth.
That background gives me a unique perspective: I understand what strong finance systems look like, but I also know how to keep things simple, effective, and tailored to the realities of smaller businesses. I’m hands-on, detail-focused, and committed to providing finance support that gives business owners confidence and peace of mind.

How do you ensure confidentiality and discretion?
Confidentiality is at the core of everything we do. Your financial information is handled with complete discretion and stored securely. We don’t share client details with third parties, and we’re happy to sign NDAs or confidentiality agreements if required. Trust is everything in finance — and we take that responsibility seriously.
Do you work with Xero or MYOB?
Yes — we’re Xero Advisor and Payroll Certified, and also experienced with MYOB Exo. We can work within your existing system, clean up your current setup, or help you get started on the right platform if needed.
Can you work remotely or do you need to be onsite?
We work with clients across New Zealand, mostly remotely. Thanks to cloud-based tools like Xero, MYOB, and secure file-sharing platforms, we’re able to provide responsive, reliable support from anywhere. If you’re in Auckland and prefer occasional face-to-face meetings, we’re happy to make that work too.
How does pricing work, and what can I expect in the first month?
We don’t offer one-size-fits-all packages — every business is different. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a tailored proposal based on the support you need, how often you need it, and the systems you already have in place.
In the first month, we focus on getting familiar with your business, reviewing your current setup, and identifying any urgent tasks (like overdue GST or unreconciled accounts). From there, we work with you to create a routine that keeps things running smoothly — whether that’s weekly, fortnightly, or monthly support.
